Due to settling and decomposition, it would be extremely difficult (and dangerous) to properly set lift towers. The hill is primarily man-made from earth and gravel obtained from a variety of sources. The primary source comes from a gravel pit off of Dorr Road, located about a half-mile away from M.r Brighton.
